Recently someone found that if you do a search on Google Insights for “election time” and “terror alert,” you can see that there's an alert just before each election (or so it’s gone for the past 6 years).
And while it’s most likely true that there is correlation between these two events, I’ve decided to add a third pony to the race: hot dogs! Here’s a chart representing interest in the three searches within the United States since 2004.
Also worth noting: American hot dog interest is on the rise. Time to go buy some stocks.
